Neill's Flour Recipes
Savoury Cheese Bread
Preheat oven to 200C (400oF).Gas mark 4
Grease and line a 1lb Loaf tin
Method:
Sift the flours and baking powder into a bowl,
Add the mustard and 2/3 of the cheese ,onion and bacon
In a small bowl beat the egg and add the milk
Add the milk and egg to the dry ingredients, mix well and turn into the loaf tin
Bake for 35-40 minutes
Turn out onto a cooling rack. Slice when cold
Ingredients
- 110g ( 4oz ) Neill's Golden Fleece
- 110g ( 4oz ) Neill's Fine wholemeal Flour
- 1 teasp dried mustard
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 110g ( 4oz ) Grated cheddar cheese
- 110g (4oz ) Grilled Bacon finely chopped
- 1 medium egg
- 2 finely chopped spring onions
- 150ml (1/4 pint) Milk
