- Sieve flour and salt, rub in butter.
- Add sugar and knead mixture until it binds together.
- Lightly roll or shape into ½" thick rounds.
- Place on a baking sheet or oven tin, crimp edges and mark into wedges.
- Bake in a moderate oven 150°c (300°f/Gas Mark 2) for 40-45 minutes.
- Cool on a tin.
